With the world's attention distracted by the latest WikiLeaks revelations, Ethiopia's prime minister Meles Zenawi did not need a whistleblower to cause his country diplomatic embarrassment: he proved more than capable of doing that all by himself.

24 November 2010 RAS AL KHAIMAH(UAE) - The Ras Al Khaimah Police have arrested an Ethiopian housemaid allegedly for stabbing her 52-year-old Emirati employer and the latter’s son with a knife.

IDG News Service - Facebook on Sunday introduced a redesign of its user profile pages in advance of an interview on the "60 Minutes" news show where CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained the redesign.
The changes include a clustered listing of biographical information under the user name at the top of the page, including such details as the person's job, hometown, relationship status, where they went to college, what languages they speak and birth date. Beneath that will appear a set of the five most recent photos that a user allows to be posted at their profile page.

Café Abyssinia opened in the early part of November at 3511 Magazine St., though the only evidence from the street is a large sign bearing the colors of the Ethiopian flag between Garden District Shoe Repair and a little soul food/snowball shop. The restaurant is set 30 or so yards from the street and housed in a small space that is clearly a repurposed apartment.
