Nearly a year has passed since we saw the winner of architectural competition for the headquarter of Commercial bank of Ethiopia.In January, 2010 Henn Architekten has won first prize in an architectural competition for the construction of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) headquarters in Addis Ababa.
Once completed, the 42-storey tower will be the tallest building ever built in Ethiopia.
Henn’s design was chosen because of better functionalities such as ventilation, day lighting and vegetation. Other criteria included security, access to people with physical disabilities and information technology installations.
