Ethiopia’s newly established telecom, Ethio Telecom, signed a management agreement on Thursday with France telecom. The Ethiopian government will be paying France telecom, mostly known for its Orange brand, €30 million to manage the new company for the coming two years, APA learns here.

Since 1997, the Ethiopia Public Health Training Initiative has helped to improve access to health care for under-served, rural Ethiopians through a landmark partnership between The Carter Center, the Ethiopia Ministries of Health and Education, seven Ethiopian universities, and 20 Ethiopian hospitals. 
New Haven, Conn. — The program, initiated in 2008 at Jimma University, has already provided 23 senior Ethiopian health care professionals with the necessary leadership skills and management tools to improve the quality of health care for the people of Ethiopia. Eighteen students have been admitted into the new AAU MHA degree program. Through training and research programs at both participating universities, students learn how to improve efficiency and the quality of health in hospitals and other health facilities.
The Washington post newspaper reviewed Markamo Ethiopian restaurant in Springfield,VA. In general the review is good. However the reviewer suggested that the restaurant owner should reconsider the use of Injera as utensils and accompaniment. More on WashingtonPost
According to data published by EuroStat, Ethiopia's exports to the 27 European countries has increased by 40% from 2009. During the the first nine months of 2009 Ethiopia exported €286 million value of goods and during the same period in 2010, the export has jumped to €361 million.
