Firefox is the most popular browser in Ethiopia

Based on sample data taken on sodere.com, Firefox is the most popular browser for  internet users in Ethiopia. Firefox has 10% more users than Internet Explorer users. During the last six months the use of Firefox has reduced wordwide, however it has become the best choice for Ethiopian internet users.

In a global scale Chrome(Google's browser) and Safari(Apple's browser) are taking market share from Internet Explorer and Firefox. The increase in use of Safari is due to the use of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch which have Safari browser pre-installed in the devices.
